Nice write up Rana...It is interesting to read the challenges faced by actors. LOL....this whole thing about not having a bound script reminds me of a parallel story in software. Being a software engineer, I am equally frustrated with the concept of Agile development methodology where we go in without having clarity on the final product :) So, I can totally relate to the pain...Good luck with the rest of your career...you have a great path ahead of you!

hey, m preeti from tamil nadu,
i always wanted to know what politics is all about, because tats something that non of the Indians understand. and i think a lot about how its gonna be when qualified individual run our country. its hard to imagine seriously, that too without an example. Shekar has done a great job portraying it in "LEADER".. and i personally think u suited the role 100%..
saw your other movie "nenu naa rakshasi".. good but not great...

and one think i was happy about after reading your blog is, your idea about genre films... directors confuse audience, and at the end of the film we are left to decide the genre by our own.. but its working well with Indian cinema.. your views are good, actually awesome... keep up the good work and expecting great outcome from your side.. all the best..

Hi,

I am not much of movie buff really, have always been selective on the ones I watch.
Recently watched couple of movies you were in, I felt you could probably work a little more on your expressions(facial/tone of voice), that will help not losing your audience and makes the experience totally worth it.

PS: Good job with the blog. If its you who has come up with this writing(I mean not like a PR doing the work on your behalf types),then you might as well try your career on this front. You just might have a shot at it professionally too.

Good Luck!

Hi Rana

Your subject in films is extraordinary ..
There are 3 major aspects here-

a.As Your Grandpa says there are always a good movie n bad movies that time , Suresh Productions had some loses n hits also. it is n it will be continuing also ...

b. Piracy - It was not there when Swatimutyam/ gundamma katha n shiva was there...therefore the taste of movies are getting lost ...For ezample your film NENU NAA RAKSHASI is a Excellent movie but ...

c. Every week new films are releasing n some are dubbed ( which we cannot stop).

This article made me LITERALLY LOL. Not that it's comical. But just because you sound exactly like me when you vent out emotion. I like how you keep the diplomacy yet still find a way to say what you truly feel. It's interesting. I've never thought of an actors' life, and how it could possibly be so complicated and tough all at the same time. Well, I hope everything goes well for you and you end up making tons of films. You're blessed in every way. Just be patient and make sure you count you're blessings. Goodluck! I hope I get to meet you someday :)
