Dum Maaro Dum (Hindi: दम मारो दम) is an upcoming Hindi language Thriller film being directed by Rohan Sippy, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Bipasha Basu and Prateik Babbar. Aditya Pancholi will also be in the film. The film’s shoot has been progressing for several months in Goa. Deepika Padukone will be seen doing an item number for the film, on the remix version of the hit song “Dum Maro Dum”. The song has been composed by Pritam. This is the first Bollywood film to be mixed in Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound After delivering a superhit in the form of Bluffmaster, Abhishek Bachchan and Rohan Sippy are coming together in this film. The film is set to release on April 22, 2011, in both India and the United States.

Rana while speaking, “Leader will complete 100 days run on May 29th. Before the film’s release I was not aware whether to do such films but post release I was clear about doing such films. After watching the premiere show Rajamouli and Vinayak appreciated the film by saying that this film appears like a real film. After watching this film I understood my negative points. So I would be cautious by not repeating those mistakes in my future films.”

Speaking about his Bollywood film he said, “Right now I am doing a film titled ‘Dum Maro Dum’ co-starring Abhishek Bachchan and Pradeep Babbar. This movie is being directed by Rohan Sippy. I’m playing the role of a magician in Goa and Bipasha Basu is pairing with me. By doing a Bollywood flick I’ve learnt many new things.”

Already dubbing ‘Dum Maro Dum’ started,rana  is giving own dubbing voice to the film.

RANA‘S Leader is produced by MSaravanan, M.S.Guhan, Aruna Guhan and Aparna Guhan under the prestigious AVM Productions banner. Mickey J Meyer’s music scored for leader is already a huge hit.

This film is being directed by Sekhar Kammula who had been famous for films like “Godavari” and “Happy Days”. The shooting of the film is completed and the post production works was finished successfully then Clean ‘U‘certificate from Censor Board without any  Single Cut.

The producers and the director are tight-lipped about the theme or plot or story of the film, but sources say that “Leader” is an action packed love story and the romance of the hero makes him into a leader to win the heroine.

On December 14,Maa TV had an exclusive interview with Rana on the occasion of his birthday. In his interview, he shared his experience working with Sekhar Kammula and team. He was thrilled when he heard the subject and thought it was the perfect story for him to debut. He also shared his childhood experience and friendly relation with Tollywood stars Ram Charan Tej , Allu Arjun and Naga Chaitanya. He also mentioned about his friendly relation with the family.
